Analysis of the food gap of poultry products in Iraq until 2020

Abstract

Abstract Received poultry sector with great interest by the government, in the seventies of the last century of the importance of food for meat-and-white eggs, but the loss of some episodes job in the poultry industry, and reliance on overseas supply fodder and hatching eggs, vaccines was the reason for not achieving the desired goals for the industry, which a negative impact on not getting all the individuals on the entire share food from eggs and chicken meat, remained external dependence in import large quantities of eggs and chicken meat during the nineties of the last century and the first decade of this century, which led to a food gap of this material has been taken as broad a steadily as a result of the cessation of government support for the sector, particularly after the U.S. occupation in 2003 and the accompanying exposure to the Iraqi market and dumping policy and the high production costs and weak legislation and laws which protect the national product. research aims to achieve the following: 1-identify the fundamentals and problems of the poultry industry in Iraq. 2- to know the reality of the production of chicken meat and eggs in Iraq for the period 2003-2011.. 3- estimate the size of the food gap for chicken meat and eggs for the period 2012-2020. الملخص حظي قطاع الدواجن باهتمام كبير من قبل الحكومة ، وذلك في سبعينيات القرن الماضي للاهمية الغذائية للحوم البيضاء والبيض ، الا ان فقدان بعض الحلقات المهمة في صناعة الدواجن ، والاعتماد على الخارج في توريدها كالاعلاف وبيض التفقيس واللقاحات كان السبب في عدم بلوغ الاهداف المرجوة لهذة الصناعة ، مما اثر سلبا على عدم حصول كل الافراد على كامل حصتهم الغذائية من البيض ولحم الدجاج، وظل الاعتماد على الخارج في استيراد كميات كبيرة من البيض ولحم الدجاج خلال تسعينيات القرن الماضي والعقد الاول من القرن الحالي مما ادى الى وجود فجوة غذائية من هذه المواد وقد اخذت بالاتساع بشكل مضطرد نتيجة لتوقف الدعم الحكومي لهذا القطاع ولاسيما بعد الاحتلال الامريكي عام 2003 وما رافقه من انكشاف للسوق العراقية وسياسة الاغراق وارتفاع كلف الانتاج وضعف التشريعات والقوانين التي تحمي المنتج الوطني.و يهدف البحث الى تحقيق الاتي: 1- التعرف على مقومات ومشاكل صناعة الدواجن في العراق. 2- معرفة واقع انتاج لحم الدجاج وبيض المائدة في العراق للمدة 2003-2011. 3- تقدير حجم الفجوة الغذائية للحم الدجاج وبيض المائدة للمدة 2012-2020.
